Pregnancy: 27 Weeks Bump Update

This week was so exciting! A brand that I have LOVED for YEARS flew us out to Phoenix Arizona to shoot my own clothing collection with them! Next month, my collaboration will launch for Black Friday and I could not be more thrilled with this bucket list dream! There are multiple pieces in my collection including maternity/nursing activewear, a four way sports bra, plus something for all ladies! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!! Anywho Phoenix was so fun and my husband and I had a blast though we were only there for two days. We got to experience a Waymo self driving care that came to pick us up and it was the craziest thing ever. We ate good food and jetted out after the photoshoot with the brand was complete. It was hard to believe that this was a work trip! Getting my makeup and hair done for the shoot and being surrounded by a group of amazing women was just simply remarkable. I do feel that each pregnancy brings the best opportunities!

How far along? 27 weeks

Baby size: Cauliflower

Total weight gain: 21lbs – 149lbs – weight fluctuates between 147-149 currently.

Maternity clothes? Mostly! Things are not fitting very well anymore

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: A lot better since I got my cooling body pillow but I am waking up to pee a TON so I had to limit fluids before bed.

Workouts: Going steady and well!

Diet: I have been loving some banana crisp lately that I have been making. I also ordered mini cupcakes.. this baby is definitely wanting sweets. I have also kind of gotten into the habit of a small bowl of cereal at bedtime.

Best moment this week:Β  Flying to Phoenix AZ to shoot with Senita Athletics for our new maternity activewear collaboration that is launching November 15! Stay tuned.

Miss anything? My ab muscles not hurting. I get so many twinges and weird pains in my abs sometimes when I move wrong. I think its due to the anterior placenta but who knows. Having an anterior placenta truly sucks by the way.

Food cravings: Still loving fruits and baby food but I feel I need to limit my sugar intake as I failed my glucose test this past week that the doctor ordered… I have to now take a 3 hour glucose tolerance test in a couple of weeks… yay… time to limit carbs and go on more walks.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No.

Gender:  a BOY! πŸ™‚

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Feeling like he is so high in my ribs already that I cant breathe lol. Mild pelvic pain, definite back pain. Heartburn. Lots of kicking!

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Notes:

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.
