Pregnancy: 18 Weeks Bump Update

This week, we got to see little man on his anatomy scan and everything came out perfectly. He kept hiding his face but we did see a glimpse of a side profile and I swear he has my nose! But maybe we can see more of him in 4 weeks when we go back for our next checkup. It was a BUSY week with the kiddos as we did a ton of activities for their last week of school. It did feel like it was a super long week but I do not mind it-I love every bit of time with my kiddos and wished our weeks could last forever.

How far along? 18 weeks

Baby size: a bell pepper

Total weight gain: 6.5lbs – I am at 134.5lbs currently.

Maternity clothes? Sometimes.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep is still great.

Workouts: Workouts are still going strong though now I cant really lay on my tummy comfortably so I have been skipping prone exercises.

Diet: Diet has not been the best LOL! Well, not the cleanest as I would hope for. But I am loving pizza and fruits this week. I did try a Crumbl cookie for the first time and then was blown away by how many calories are in them. Sheesh.

Best moment this week:  Taking our kids and going to see little man together. Going to the Descendants musical and spending time together. I also took the kids axe throwing and blacklight golfing.

Miss anything? Nothing so far!

Food cravings: PIZZAAAAAA. Melons.

Anything making you queasy or sick?

Gender:  a BOY! 🙂

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Feeling a lot more flutters this week.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Notes:

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.
