Pregnancy: 7 Weeks Bump Update

I am seven weeks pregnant today and I am feeling totally pregnant. I feel like a little alien has invaded my body and I have never been more hungry or tired. I started mapping out my prenatal workout program for my app this week which was exciting! I hope to have the full program done by end of July. I am starting to feel like I am showing more which is strange because I did not show this fast with my last two pregnancies but I have heard you show faster with each one! I wonder when I will feel the first kicks? For my son, it was at 16 weeks.. and for my daughter, 11 weeks. Maybe this time I will feel it sooner? This week was spent packing for our TN trip with the kids and shooting a lot of content so I can relax in the next couple weeks. After all its officially summer break for my kids and I wanna enjoy them while I have them. We went for our ultrasound this week and babys heart rate was higher! 138 bpm and we got discharged from our IVF clinic which is a huge step.

How far along? 7 weeks

Baby size: a blueberry

Total weight gain: 128lbs-its about the same as prior to pregnancy.

Maternity clothes? I pooch a litle towards the end of the day.

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep: ALWAYS TIRED. I need to start napping because eveyr day is a struggle even when I wake up.

Workouts: Still on pelvic rest due to subchorionic hematoma that I was diagnosed with at my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days, so still taking it easy but resuming activity. We went on scooter date yesterday and I resumed light workouts without lifting heavy.

Diet: Healthy for the most part-not really cravings sweets although I have been loving watermelon and had my husband stop fo peaches at a fruit stand this week.

Best moment this week:  Seeing our babys heart rate higher-138bpm!!! Measured perfectly and we were discharged from the care of our IVF doctor to find an OB for futher care which is great news.

Miss anything? My energy and feeling full.

Food cravings: Cheese and fruits

Anything making you queasy or sick? No but if i get too hungry I feel icky and nauseated.

Gender: We will find out at 15/16 weeks which embryo was used for our IVF transfer! We hope to bring the kids along. We will use Living Images in Shalimar FL-the same ultrasound sonographer who told me Greyson was a boy and Everly was a girl.

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Extreme fatigue, gassy, tender breasts. Vivid dreams.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Notes:

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.
