Pregnancy: 4 Weeks Bump Update

HERE WE GO AGAIN! I found out I was pregnant last week at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.

How far along? 4 weeks

Baby size: Chia seed

Total weight gain: None-I am actually losing a bit from my pre-pregnancy weight because I am not super hungry for some reason.

Maternity clothes? Nope-its way too early to show.

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep: Its been a struggle to stay awake. I have had my husband drive me places because I get so sleepy.

Workouts: The same as prior to pregnancy-no new changes but I am taking it easier as being an IVF patient makes me nervous for some reason so I dont overdo it this early.

Diet: The same as before just no raw sushi and I have to be careful with herbal teas.

Best moment this week: Getting my beta hcg pregnancy test results and learning I am TRULY pregnant though I found out last week at 3 weeks pregnant when I got my first positive pregnancy test and surprised my husband.

Miss anything? My energy.

Food cravings: Cheese, meat, sushi, and pancakes with lots of butter.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No

Gender: We will find out at 15/16 weeks which embryo was used for our IVF transfer!

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Extreme fatigue, gassy, tender breasts, cramping and spotting.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.
