First Trimester Pregnancy Must Haves

I am almost through my first trimester of my third pregnancy and by now, I feel like a seasoned pro. I have written a blog like this sharing my must haves for the first trimester of pregnancy BUT that was over eight years ago! I am amazed at all the new maternity and baby products out there these days. I decided to share an updated list of my current first trimester must haves that every pregnant gal should have.

Natalist Prenatal Vitamin

As you know or should know, a prenatal vitamin is the most important thing you can take and the first thing you should invest in. This time around, I am taking the Natalist Prenatal Daily Packets. I like their vitamins because they deliver them to you automatically so you never run out. Pregnancy can be a busy time and its easy to forget things. The packets also have everything you need in them! Use code SIA for a nice discount of 25% off and shop here

Pink Stork Morning Sickness Sweets

I have been lucky when it comes to mornong sickness as I never really had much with all pregnancies, but this time around I get a little nauseated if I do not eat on time or allow myself to get too hungry. I keep little lozenges on hand to help with that! I love the Pink Stork Morning Sickness Sweets. They are mango-ginger flavored drops (thank God they dont taste like straight up ginger like other suckers/lozenges) that also contain Vitamin B6 which has been proven to help with nausea. You can grab them here.

Belly Bandit Maternity Bra

Can I first just say I have used Belly Bandit for over TEN years? I used them with both previous pregnancies and I am so thrilled so still use them today. I was such a HUGE fan of their postpartum belly wrap, but they also make some really good leggings and bras for pregnant and postpartum mamas. This is the Leakproof Nursing bra from Belly Bandit. I grabbed one of these as I plan to breastfeed my baby like the other two and the “leakproof” aspect really intrigued me! Use code SIA15 for 15% off and click here to shop. The bra itself is actually SUPER comfy and nice for maternity wear as my breasts feel like they are on fire. Great thing to have!

Stanley Water Bottle

Ok, I know I know.. it is an overpriced water bottle to some. But I was so anti-Stanley until I got my own Stanley cup as a birthday gift from my husband. He got me the hot pick/black combo and I use it honestly every single day to stay hydated. It works better than most knock offs so I figured this is one area where its best to just get the real thing. In my cup is typically fruit infused water or electrolyte water. You can grab my color combo Stanley Cup by clicking here.

Natalist Hydration and Energy Electrolytes Drink Mix

Something that I have been adding to my water right when I started my IVF process are electrolaytes. They help you stay hydrated which is important for baby, by keeping your minerals balanced when they get delpleted. Electrolytes also boost your energy which is a MUST HAVE during the first trimester of pregnancy. After all, dehydration can cause fatigue. My electrolytes of choice is Natalist Hydration and Energy Electrolytes Mix. I add a packet to my water one to two times daily. You can grab it here. Use code SIA for 25% off.

Pregnancy+ Baby Tracker Pregnancy App

With each pregnancy, I used a baby/pregnancy tracker to help with keeping track of each week’s progress. Other than that, it was so exciting getting to see each week’s new changes and milestones. Some of the other apps I used in the past are no longer available so I found a new one that I liked called Pregnancy+ App. You can find it on Apple or Android.

Pregnancy Pillow

Although this is not 100% necessary to have all the time, a pregnancy pillow is not a bad early investment to get into. As your belly grows, sleeping can be rather difficult! Back pain and a growing belly can cause a ton of discomfort. As far as the first trimester goes, fatigue is a daily thing and you will probably be napping frequently, so why not get the most comfy sleep in? I like the Queen Rose Cooling Pregnancy Pillow for under $50 on Amazon. Grab one here!
