Diary of a Fit mommy

Pregnancy: 19 Weeks Bump Update

Almost halfway!! I cannot believe it. This week I have been feeling our baby move so much more than I have felt before. I only feel the movements on the sides – not the front – thanks to my anterior placenta but it is still nice knowing he is there and well. I have gotten most of our baby stuff and nursery items together so there is not much left to get for baby. I wont have my next maternity appointment until the first week of September where we will have another ultrasound to see him. I do have a special 4D one scheduled in October which I am so thrilled about! Anywho, nothing really new this week as its my week without my kids. My husband and I indulge in our little crime mystery games and binge watching episodes of Lost. I am feeling pretty great minus being tired.

How far along? 19 weeks

Baby size: a tomato

Total weight gain: 7lbs – I am at 135lbs currently.

Maternity clothes? Sometimes.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep is still great.

Workouts: Workouts are still normal. Just no stomach lying positions anymore.

Diet: Diet was pretty healthy this week as I meal prepped shrimp sushi bowls with brown rice, shrimp, cucumber, and spicy mayo. I added some nori and avocado on top-yum! Still loving some fruits.

Best moment this week:  Feeling little man kick more and more.

Miss anything? Lying on my belly comfortably to sleep.

Food cravings: My sausage cheese dip I made. Served with tortilla chips!

Anything making you queasy or sick? No.

Gender:  a BOY! 🙂

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Feeling a lot more flutters this week. Feeling very tired and my boobs hurt.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Notes:

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.
