Pregnancy: 11 Weeks Bump Update

I am 11 weeks this week and I think I have been feeling the baby move. However, most of the time, it is a false alarm thanks to GAS! However, I swear I have felt little flutters in my lower tummy as well as MAYBE some little kicks. I am still waiting to say until I confidently know for sure. I believe I felt my daughter at 11 weeks with my last pregnancy so we shall see. For the most part, it was a relaxing week though I missed the kids and I got to catch up on work and work on my prenatal workout plan for my app. We think we may have a name but I would like to see its face first! I announced my pregnancy to the world this week and the response was so heartwarming. We get to see little peanut next week on my next ultrasound and I hope and pray its healthy and moving around in there.

How far along? 11 weeks

Baby size: a fig

Total weight gain: 1lb -ish.

Maternity clothes? I have been ordering some pieces as I feel my bump is definitely showing a lot more than my other pregnancies. I will probably wear them soon.

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep: Slept like a baby all week! No insomnia anymore luckily.

Workouts: Back to normal, lifting heavier and going on daily walks.

Diet: This week I made two Korean traditional dishes-kalbi and japchae. It was soooo good! Not sure why I am craving Korean food, but it hit the spot. My diet has been pretty healthy though.

Best moment this week:  I would not say there was a best moment as not much happened but I did have my first eye exam in 10 years and was diagnosed as far sighted and prescribed glasses. So that is a first. Other than that, feeling the baby possibly move!

Miss anything? My energy for sure.

Food cravings: Korean food.

Anything making you queasy or sick? My body still hates being hungry-I have to snack often or I will feel sick.

Gender: We will find out at 15 weeks. I scheduled our appointment for July 20. Kids are coming!! 🙂

Labour signs: No!

Symptoms: Extreme fatigue. Food aversions. GASSINESS!!!! Feeling flutters in my lower tummy.

Belly button in or out? In! It never popped out the last 2 times.

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Notes:

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks of pregnancy after we did our frozen embryo transfer. If you haven’t followed my IVF journey, check out my frozen embryo transfer blog and my egg retrieval blog. Long story short, my husband was infertile due to the structure of his reproductive system-his vas deferens were missing so IVF was the only way and it worked the first try!

I have not been pregnant in 8 years almost so it is wild that I am doing it all over again and hope to do it only fourth and final time in another two-three years. Wish us luck and love! I will be doing these pregnancy progression bump updates weekly so you can “grow” with me along with a bump photo + questions about my pregnancy.
